Can you feel the love?

My mother-in-law captured this moment of Emma loving on her baby brother. She's really sweet to him, and always wants to make sure she can see his face. (She thinks his squashy faces and yawns and burps are pretty amusing.) She also doles out plenty of smooches, and he's started smiling at her coos.

Her main issue with him thus far is the fact that he cries. Imagine that...a baby that cries. This, in turn, causes her to have a complete meltdown, where she herself is bawling and we can barely understand her saying, "I don't like him to cry!" (sigh.) Yep, we can still use your prayers for balancing life with the two of them. But all in all, we're feeling the love around here.

...except that "there's no love lost between them" means that the two despise one another. I don't think that was your meaning, Sis!

And you're right, single is synonymous to alone, and I'm not alone. Thanks for that!!

Oops! Yep, Garfield just corrected me on the expression "no love lost". I'll be editing that!

I have to agree that is a great shot of Emma...but not as the one I could have gotten as she sat, feet in the water, sitting on the rock in Narnia Creek after the Anthill Incident. All she needed was the gossamer wings; there, a true-to-life fairy.
