Whew. I'm glad today has finally arrived---the day of the Texas Republican primaries. We got to vote for
Ron Paul (woohoo!), and now maybe my phone will stop ringing nine times a day with people on the other end who actually expect us to vote for Hillary or Obama. Seriously, nine times a day. So now I can get back to getting other phone calls. (

OH, I forgot to tell you that when we got home yesterday I had calls from 5 friends of John McCain. I thought I might have to hurt my answering machine if I had to hear, "I want you to vote for my friend John McCain," one more time. I wonder if John McCain's friends called Hillary's & Obama's friends? If you got 9 calls, that means the democrats have more friends than John McCain. I did have one Huckabee call, but this guy didn't pretend to be a friend. LOL!
Yay for Ron Paul voters!!!!!
Well, the democrats sure voted, but where were all the republicans??? At the caucus last night, in a room filled with hundreds dems, sat all nine of us republicans!
(shaking my head)
Candace, I think those of us who usually vote Republican are disappointed in our (actual) choices this election. Some of us were passionately supportive of nominees who didn't make the cut, so now it seems like it's a lose-lose-lose situation all the way around. This is going to be an interesting 4 years...
Uzzah! Ron Paul!
Steph, Africa is sounding better by the minute! Oh, wait, been there, done that. Kenya has had horrific bloodshed since their recent elections. Hmmmm, how about a deserted island. Gilligan & Mary Ann seemed happy enough. I echo your thoughts that this will certainly be an interesting (to say the least) 4 years. Come quickly Lord Jesus!
wohoooooooooooooo for Ron Paul!
