Something's amiss...

...in the Green household.

Mommy's been spending an inordinate amount of time hunched over the toilet, Emma's been spending an inordinate amount of time watching PBS, and Daddy's been spending an inordinate amount of time preparing food and cleaning. And there's this interesting new ticker at the top of my blog.

Yep, I'm pregnant! I'm sorry if I haven't gotten to tell you personally, but considering the above description of the state of affairs in our home, you'll forgive me.

Now if you'll just pray that this wretched phase of "morning" sickness will finish soon, I'd appreciate it!

Congrats! I know I've already said it in real life, but I wouldnt' miss an opportunity to say it again.
And about the morning sickness: this too shall pass. I know just how you feel, and will pray for you, but we all know it's worth it in the end. Like labor and delivery, which is fast approaching in *our* house.

Yea! A very heartfelt congratulations. Little Garfield will be happy to have someone other than you to wrestle with. They'll be 18 months apart?

Thanks, you guys. These two will be 16 months apart, Lord willing. And Kim, in case you haven't figured it out yet, I'm a huge wimp about all this throwing up business. Even though I know it's all worth it, I have trouble seeing my way through to the end. I'd prefer labor and delivery hands down to this stage, just by comparison of how long it lasts! But I do try to keep a positive outlook...there are just good days and bad days...oh, and LONG days!

Stephanie I am with you I do not like this phase. I hate throwing up a favorite meal especially when it is one I don't get very often. But I do know that it does pass and is all well worth it in the end. Congratulations again! You are in our prayers. Here's praying this phase will pass quicker rather than later.

I know throwing up stinks but it is a good sign that hormones are high and that the placenta is growing fast. Praying you can have some relief.
I am so happy for you all.

WOW! Congrats Stefanie! I am son happy for you. Sorry about the throwing up, though. At least it's a good sign.

Blessings,
