Elizabeth Noelle

Baby Elizabeth Noelle was born this morning at 10:48 am. She weighs 6 lbs. 8 oz. and is 19.25 inches long. Also, unlike our first two babies (who were quite bald) Elizabeth has long dark hair. In fact, she currently has longer hair than Garfield III--who is 16 months old!

Mother and baby are doing very well and will probably be coming home on Sunday. I'm (Garfield) just updating the blog for Stephanie while she rests. The labor was long and hard, but Stephanie did awesome--she's a real champ. The birth was all natural and Steph should bounce back quickly. Baby Elizabeth is very healthy and alert; she began nursing right away and she seems quite content. The Lord blessed us with a fantastic nurse, and Steph's doctor, who also delivered G III, was a blessing and a comfort to all of us. Thank you all for your prayers. I'll have some pictures up tomorrow.

She is GORGEOUS! Make that BOTH SHE's! Baby Elizabeth is absolutely beautiful. What a gorgeous pink, dark haired beauty she is. And so sweet! Thank you for letting me meet her and even hold her!

Stephanie, you looked beautiful each day, from just hours after birth until leaving the hospital. God has filled you with His peace and Grace and I know it radiated to all who saw you in the hospital.
