Resting and Nesting

I've officially squandered this day.

The last few days have been spent alternating between napping and spurts of energy, resulting in some tackled organizations projects here and there, and little else. Today, since I had in my mind that I'd be giving birth, I didn't make any plans. I (gasp!) didn't even make a to-do list! So you know what I did? Zip. Zilch. Nada.

I napped my morning away while my mom watched the kids, then I ate lunch, then I sat around, then I puttered around, then I opened mail, then I checked email, and now here I am sitting again. It's almost 4:30 p.m., and I'm ashamed to admit that I'm still in jammies. (Have you ever noticed that staying in jammies all day sounds so inviting until you actually do it? Then it just makes you feel like a slug who wasted a day.)

Anyway, no action around here on the baby front, in case you're wondering. I even changed my ticker to reflect my "real" due date, which is not for another full week...I couldn't handle the pressure of my ticker telling me the baby should be here in 4 more days!

I suppose I shouldn't have told so many people I'm not in any rush to give birth; I think my poor little baby girl must think I'm not ready for her. Either that, or she's just terribly comfy...

Everybody deserves a jammie day now tand then, especially right before welcoming another baby into the world! Reserving energy for the big day and all the subsequent sleepless nights.
Cute outfit in the picture! I like the slit in the skirt.

Oh Stephanie, you are beautiful. :) I love you and I can't wait to see your little girl whenever she decides to come! :)

Thanks, guys. You're too kind.

Chelsea, allow me to explain. ;) The skirt isn't a maternity one...it's just stretchy, so I pull it up over my belly and it's super comfy. I hadn't even realized how high that made the slit go...I think I look in the mirror far less while pregnant. You know me---ever the immodest one.

Oh, and here's an update: I'm ready to go to bed, it's almost midnight, and I STILL haven't gotten out of jammies! (Once 6 p.m. rolled around, what's the point, right?) At least now I'm already ready!
