So the due date has arrived...

...and there is absolutely nothing exciting to share with you!

Although, do stay tuned because at the inspiration of my friend Kim C., I plan to liveblog a little during the early stages of labor. The birth process of her 8th child made me miss at least a day of my life, hanging out at my computer pushing the refresh button every 10 seconds. I'm not sure what my children did or ate that day, but I got to feel quite up close and personal at the homebirth of a woman with 7 daughters. C'mon...you'd have needed to know if it was a boy, too, right?

On another note, if someone had asked me what I intended to do on my due date, I can assure you that two things would NOT have been at the top of my list: sliding down twisty playground slides, and taking a long forest hike. However, when you have a very convincing daughter and father, apparently this is just par for the course at 9 months pregnant. (At least I got some sympathetic looks from the other moms at the park as they watched me cumbersomely climb up the ladders and try out all the slides.)

Thanks for checking in, and I promise, you'll get baby news here within the next few weeks for sure. :)

Steph!! I can't wait for her to arrive!! Surely she'll come sometime this weekend! :)

Thank you for the concern about my car. I totally know what you mean about having a budget line specifically for the car- I guess I didn't realize how expensive those things can be. Praise God for taking care of me, though! You should go read my update, because He totally had it all under control!!
Love you!

You sure know how to increase traffic on your blog! ;)

May your labor come soon, after a full night's sleep, when your husband is close by, and be over quickly!

I feel for you Stephanie, but I always add 3 weeks to my due date as I know that is when my babies make there appearance. So when my due date arrives I know I have about 3 weeks more.
Looking forward to meeting this new little "Green" baby.
