An oddity, to be sure...

...having a productive day, that is. That's the funny thing I hear all the time from moms who stay home: we all seem to be doing things all day long, but at the end of the day have trouble listing what exactly it is we did.

But today was unusually productive for me. I jumped all over the sudden motivation I was feeling, and did three loads of laundry (including changing sheets), sorted through three bins of little boy clothes, swept and mopped the downstairs, exercised with Emma, cleaned up our bedroom, and of course did the usual meals/snacks/diapers/playing.

I'm wiped out, but it's good to feel like I made some progress around here. Now I'm off to a homeschool meeting for some good fellowship with other ladies who can't always tell you what they did with their day, either.

And by the way, when did the term "barefoot and pregnant in the kitchen" develop a negative connotation? I rather enjoy that state of being. Those silly feminists don't know what they're missing. ;)

I agree those silly feminist don't know what they are missing as I too enjoy being bearfoot and pregnant. I enjoy being just barefoot also.

Yes, and don't forget the "in the kitchen" part. That's where the ice cream is. (Chocolate is usually in the bedroom.)
Steph, your baby ticker says you're past the halfway mark on meeting your new baby - how exciting!
